Aston Villa scouts present at Europa League clash tonight

Aston Villa are one of five English clubs with scouts at the Europa League clash between Anderlecht and FSV Mainz 05 tonight, according to Belgian media outlet DH.be.

Everton, Sunderland, West Ham, West Brom and Aston Villa will all have scouts in attendance for the match at the Constant Vanden Stockstadion in Belgium tonight.

It is thought that the man who is most likely to be on these clubs’ radar is Polish striker Lukasz Teodorczyk.

The 25-year-old has 12 goals in 20 games this season on loan from Dynamo Kiev and he has previously attracted interest from the English top flight.

Aston Villa previously sent scouts to watch Benfica take on Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday night as it appears Steve Bruce is keen to assess his options ahead of the January window.

The game kicks off at 6pm tonight in Belgium with a number of players possibly being watched by Villa scouts.

Aston Villa fans – what do you think? Who are you watching tonight? Would Teodorczyk be a good signing?
