Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers are both looking to pursue the signature of Queens Park Rangers’ midfielder Tjaronn Chery, according to Sky Sports News HQ via Birmingham Mail.
The Dutchman has recently handed in a transfer request at Loftus Road, with Ian Holloway’s men underachieving in the Championship, sitting in 17th after 25 games.
The 28-year old tenacious attacking midfielder has scored 15 times in 59 games for the R’s, and has very much so been the shining light for the London club as they have been faltering in the bottom half of the Championship.
Both Villa and Wolves sit in and around the mid-table position, with the Villans in 12th place and the Wolves in 16th place, however both clubs definitely possess the ability and quality to ignite a promotion push as we approach the second half of the campaign, and Chery would be a perfect acquisition for both teams.
So…What do you think Villa and Wolves fans? Would you like to see Tjaronn Chery join your club?
QPR fans…would you be disappointed to see him leave Loftus Road? Leave all of your thoughts in the comments below!
