Jack Grealish remains out of action for Aston Villa as he continues his recovery from an injury lay-off, but some recent good news has emerged.

Villa's talisman revealed in a post on his official Instagram account, that he has stepped up his recovery and was grateful for being able to use the facilities at NAS Sports Complex.

This latest update certainly will be positive news for not just the Aston Villa supporters, but for some of Grealish's teammates as well.

Both Tammy Abraham and Yannick Bolasie are seemingly looking forward to his return, according to their replies to his update, which come from @villareport.

Grealish had looked like a completely different player since Dean Smith took charge of his boyhood club, and he has been extremely unlucky with the timing of his latest injury.

The 23-year-old has made 21 starts in total for Villa this season, and he is seemingly nearing a return to action, which is a huge boost for Smith and his side.

The Villa boss will be hoping that Grealish can help aid his side's promotion push this season, with Villa just five points adrift of the play-off places.

The Verdict

Aston Villa need him back as quickly as possible.

Grealish may not have been at his best this season, but under Dean Smith, he has shown encouraging signs that he is close to recapturing his best form.

If he finds his feet in this Villa side swiftly, then I can see him playing a starring role for Smith's side and firing them into the play-offs.
