Aston Villa are today being linked with a move for Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo, as the Villans look to strengthen their squad before the end of the August window.
Liverpool youngster Ojo has spent time in the Championship before, and with Villa having a lacklustre transfer window on the whole, signing someone of the quality of the former Fulham loanee would be quite the coup.
Ojo is a player who can change a game with a bit of quality, and with the likes of Jack Grealish around him playing him in behind defences, he could well thrive under the stewardship of manager Steve Bruce at Villa Park.
Liverpool clearly rate Ojo as a player, but with the talent they have in wide attacking areas, there is simply no room at the inn for the youngster in terms of first team opportunities, and another move into the Championship to join a promotion chasing club could be the perfect move.
Blessed with searing pace and the ability to beat defenders with ease, the vision of Villa have Ojo on one side and Albert Adomah on the other, with Grealish in between, is something which could seriously excite the onlooking Villa fans.
Ojo would simply be a superb signing for the Villans, and if he does indeed sign on the dotted line at Villa Park, Steve Bruce will have no doubt enhanced his team's chances of winning promotion back to the top flight after a three year absence.
Villa fans, what do you think? Is Ojo a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
