The Sky Bet Championship action returns this evening as West Brom face Birmingham in a Midlands derby.

Meanwhile, though, another of their local rivals - Aston Villa - take on Blackburn as they aim to keep their top six chances well and truly on track.

For sure, if they get back into the Premier League they will be confident that they can keep the likes of Jack Grealish but, even so, it will be a tough task as there could well be interest.

According to the Birmingham Mail, Dean Smith thinks he might have a contingency if he leaves, though, and that is in the form of Henri Lansbury.

A player that's struggled with injuries during his career, this will surely come as a very welcome confidence boost.

There can be no doubt that Lansbury has massive quality on the ball and it is evident that, when fit and firing, he can have a similar impact to Grealish.

Can he be at the same level as the Villa hero? Probably not, but there's no reason to suggest he can't get close because back at Grealish's age, he too was rated very highly.

Certainly, Smith knows what a confident Lansbury can do, and it appears he's ready to try and build him up.
