Tyrone Mings is a name that just will not leave the headlines since his stamp on Nelson Oliveira last weekend.

As things stand, the Aston Villa loanee is set to get away with his actions that left the Reading striker with a badly broken nose and several deep cuts to his face, but both Oliveira and the Royals are not letting things lie just yet.

Yesterday, the Portuguese broke his silence on the matter, calling for an FA investigation into the incident claiming he could have been blinded.

His manager Jose Gomes hinted at taking the matter further as well, claiming to have clear photographic evidence that Mings deliberately stepped on the striker's face.

But how will the centre-back be feeling as the incident appears to be resurfacing once again?

I imagine, and I would hope, that he is feeling incredibly worried that this will be taken further.

At the moment the only reason that has not happened is because the referee said he saw the incident, but so far no new evidence has been presented.

And Mings should be ready to accept any ban he is given. He knows he could have avoided Oliveira's head.

The likelihood is that he tried to leave a bit on the striker, as often happens between players. I doubt he intended to cause the damage he did but I strongly believe he intended to leave a bit on his face.

Will he banned? That is hard to say. But Mings should be ready to accept any punishment he is given.
