Aston Villa man open to January move amid Scottish interest

Aston Villa midfielder Aaron Tshibola is open to a January move away from the club after just six months, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The 21-year-old only moved to Villa Park in the summer, joining Roberto di Matteo’s promotion charge, though neither he or the project the club embarked upon have worked out as hoped.
Still, the former Reading ace is undoubtedly a promising player and it’s thought he would only leave the Midlands on a loan deal in the New Year.
To that end, SPFL giants Rangers are understood to be of interest to the midfielder.
The Gers have also been linked with teammate Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, though the 18-year-old has been reported to be closing in on a new deal under Steve Bruce.
Since the club changed manager, it’s been a frustrating few months for Tshibola, who has featured just once under the stewardship of the ex-Hull City coach.
