Aston Villa have joined West Ham and Queens Park Rangers in the race to sign Norwich City striker Gary Hooper, according to FLW sources.
The 26-year-old striker has been the subject of interest ever since the Canaries were relegated from the Barclays Premier League last season.
Hooper is eager for a move back to the Premier League and Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa are considering tabling a bid for the Harlow born forward.
The striker joined Norwich from Celtic last summer and amassed 32 league appearances, and scored six goals for the Canaries.
Norwich have already signed two strikers this summer, following the arrivals of Lewis Grabban and Kyle Lafferty.
Hooper looks ever more likely to depart Carrow Road this summer, with a host of top-flight clubs vying for his signature.
