Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna is causing a stir in the SPFL and is getting attention from possible suitors with Wolves, Aston Villa and Celtic all keen on the player, according to The Sun.

Aston Villa and Celtic both had offers turned down in August and with Wolves now watching the player there could be battle for his signature come January.

So who should McKenna join?

We discuss.....

Alfie Burns

Aston Villa is an attractive option, particularly with Dean Smith now at the club.

However, if the price is right, I can see Premier League clubs taking a look at the defender as a long-term investment.

He’d get more game time at somewhere like Villa Park, but a move to the top-flight would be too good to turn down, surely.

Scott McKenna will have plenty of offers for his services come the January transfer window, that I am certain of.

There will be no shortage of Championship interest and I can imagine it will be either Leeds or Aston Villa that snap the Aberdeen man up.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men have somewhat of a defensive injury crisis at present and could look to add more options to their back line in the New Year.

Dean Smith’s side are in need of replacements at the back with their well-documented lack of options at the back since the departure of John Terry and Tommy Elphick.

So I feel it will be a battle between those two clubs for his signature.

George Dagless

Villa.

They are crying out for a centre-half and he'd get in the side for sure.

He'd learn from John Terry and James Chester and become a very good footballer.
