Aston Villa are said to be rivalling the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to sign in-form youngster, Omer Faruk Beyaz according to The Sun.

It has also been reported that Chelsea and Manchester City are said to be interested in the promising striker who has made a good impression.

All of the clubs interested in the 15-year-old have recently sent scouts out to watch Beyaz in action in the Aegean Cup tournament in Izmir.

The Fenerbahce youngster scored both goals in the final of the tournament as Turkey beat Spain 2-0 to lift the trophy.

The brace in the final took his tally to four goals in the competition for his national side, and with Beyaz assisting a further two goals, it's clear to see why he is attracting interest from the biggest clubs in the world.

So his talent certainly is promising, and he has a bright future ahead of him in European football, but he'll have to consider his next move carefully.

Beyaz is contracted with the Turkish club until 2021, and given the poor run of form that Fenerbahce are currently in, they are surely likely to lose their best young talent.

It is also thought that Bayern Munich, Juventus and Basel are also interested in striking a deal for one of the most in-demand youngsters in world football.

The Verdict:

"It's a smart bit of business by Aston Villa.

"Although they face stiff competition for his signature, they will be hoping that they can get ahead in the race to sign the youngster with first-team football more likely to happen with Villa.

"This is an excellent signing for the future.
