Aston Villa will be raring to get going after this international break has come to an end and you can see why.

The Villans are one of the form sides in the EFL at the moment and the way things are going they will be contesting for a place at Wembley in the play-offs this season.

That, then, is stark contrast to how things were looking just a few weeks ago at the club when the hope was that they might be able to just finish this season on a high for the new campaign.

Since Jack Grealish's return, things have seriously turned up fortune-wise whilst the defence now looks sturdy thanks to Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause.

And, keeping with that theme, the luck keeps getting better for Villa with Axel Tuanzebe and Henri Lansbury back in full-training, whilst Tommy Elphick and James Chester are not too far away:

A squad that has had potential all season, it is finally coming together for Dean Smith and co. now, and fans will be more than happy that it is happening at the perfect time.

The question will be now, then, can Villa make use of what they've got and get back into the Premier League?
