There's a sense around Aston Villa at the moment that, if they are to make signings this summer, they are going to have to buy cheap and sell high.

Financial issues have gripped the club since their play-off final loss to Fulham and they've seen the likes of John Terry, Robert Snodgrass and Sam Johnstone all leave respectively.

Certainly, then, they're going to have to be savvy in terms of the players they sign this window but, with that said, there is evident risk that the quality of arrivals might not be where they want it to be.

Certainly, they'll be question marks over the potential transfer of Michael Hefele who could represent the replacement for John Terry in defence for the Villans.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that there was interest from the club and so, that in mind, we asked Villa fans whether they'd be happy with his arrival:

Though you can never tell how a player is going to do until he's arrived and played some games, fans usually have a feeling and this one perhaps isn't the most positive.

Replacing John Terry would be hard for a number of players, there's no shame in that, but it's more that Hefele hasn't really shone for some time.

It's potentially a sign of things to come for Villa signings-wise, too, as they take gambles.
