It has been a difficult week for Aston Villa, who are facing financial difficulties having missed out on promotion back to the Premier League.

Villa lost the Championship play-off final 1-0, with Fulham heading to the top-flight at Villa’s expense, thanks to Tom Cairney’s well-taken goal at Wembley.

Failure to win promotion has hurt Villa, who are facing financial problems, with huge cuts needed to be made at Villa Park ahead of next year.

A tax bill has failed to be paid on time, with it also looking likely that some of Villa’s star men are going to have to be sold over the course of the summer.

Dr Tony Xia, Villa’s owner, has been at the forefront of the club’s difficult week, with plenty of criticism heading Villa’s way.

Here at FLW, we wanted to find out if Villa’s supporters were fond of the way Xia goes about his business.

As expected, after such a testing week for Villa and with more hurdles facing the club, Villa’s supporters admitted they weren’t fans of their owner's business methods.

69% of supporters showed their concern, whilst just 31% are happy with Xia.

Aston Villa fans… Is Xia to blame for the club’s vulnerable position? Let us know your thoughts!
