Aston Villa will be looking to make several changes this summer as they aim to get themselves re-established in the Premier League.

A name that belongs in the top flight, they cannot trade on reputation alone and will be looking to shake their squad up in the transfer window.

That is set to involve exits for some players, too, and it looks as though Albert Adomah, Alan Hutton and Tommy Elphick are likely to be out of the door.

Indeed, Matt Maher suggested as such on Twitter:

All three have shown at times what they can bring to Villa but as they look to the Premier League the club might feel as though they are going to only have decreased influence on the team.

There's bound to be interest in them this summer, though, and so all three - if they do go - should be able to find new clubs quickly.

The Verdict

It's always sad when certain players leave and Villa fans will miss the likes of Hutton who has proven to be a cult hero this last few years.

Progress never stops, though, and it seems as though those that make the decisions at Villa feel it would be best this trio left the club.
