Aston Vila and Norwich City have reportedly shown interest in Anderlecht's Italian striker Stefano Okaka, according to the Daily Mail.

The Italian striker had a prolific season in Jupiler Pro League scoring thirteen times and providing three assists in 27 appearances, which helped Anderlecht finish second after the Championship play-offs.

Okaka has previous experience of English football as he spent a brief loan spell in the Premier League with Fulham after falling out of favour at Roma.

The 27-year-old has re-established his stuttering career after moving to Anderlecht which has attracted attention from across Europe, particularly in England with Championship sides Norwich City and Aston Villa leading the pack.

Both Norwich and Villa have made contact with Anderlecht about the availability of Okaka, however, it has yet to be seen if Anderlecht will entertain and encourage the interest or if the Belgian side will show resilience to keep the striker at the Belgian side.
