Cardiff City have urged all relevant parties to look at the positive aspects of Project Big Picture as they seemingly throw their support behind the idea.

The main talking point in English football has been over the controversial proposal which would provide immediate funding to EFL clubs, preserving the future of many in the lower leagues.

However, it would come at a cost, with the 'Big Six' in the Premier League having even more power than they normally do, which is just one of the criticisms many fans have of the idea, that was put forward by Manchester United and Liverpool.

Despite the public outcry from fans of many clubs, Cardiff released a statement on their site that outlined the positive aspects of the plan and then called on a solution to be reached moving forward.

It's fair to say that the club's stance didn't go down well with the supporters though, who would rather see the club fight for an outcome that doesn't concede power to the elite.
