The loss of James Vaughan and Lewis Grabban this month has left a gaping hole in Sunderland’s squad, with Chris Coleman identifying Tom Bradshaw as a potential replacement, according to reports.
Bradshaw, 25, has scored 11 goals across all competitions for Barnsley this season, and was handed his Welsh international debut by Coleman earlier in the campaign.
Would the Barnsley man be a good addition at the Stadium of Light? We discuss…
I think he would be.
Sunderland need goals and Bradshaw has shown this season that he can get them.
I think they’ll need to get another forward as well as him but it’s certainly a good start.
Coleman needs an experienced frontman.
I would be surprised if Bradshaw moved down the league but it would suit Sunderland if he did.
They could offer him the chance to be a hero by scoring the goals that keep Sunderland up.
A decent signing.
Sunderland must realise now they’re not going to be able to attract big names, so Bradshaw is as good as it gets.
He’s a clever player and has a reasonable record at this level.
He’s also someone Chris Coleman knows well from Wales.
