Regardless of division, it looks set to be a big summer of transfer business for Derby County and Frank Lampard, who look set to have a second season together.

One of the driving factors behind the Rams' successes this season have been down to the loanees - Mason Mount, Harry Wilson, and Fikayo Tomori.

If Derby do go up, one of the first things Lampard should do is sit down with the board and get them to tie down those three for another season at least.

With all of Mount's talent, and Wilson's goals, the defensive rock Tomori has gone under the radar, and he should be as recognised as the other two for his performances this season.

It looks like Derby will face competition for Tomori though, from Scottish giants Celtic, according to reports.

Neil Lennon's side are reportedly in contention to tie down a deal for the Chelsea-owned defender this summer, after their star defender Dedryck Boyata signed for Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin this week.

With this news, Derby should be doing all they can to ensure Tomori is a Ram next season.

He stepped in and played nearly every game with Curtis Davies sidelined for most of the season, and showed maturity beyond his years.

After a few satisfactory loan moves to Brighton and Hull City, Tomori really showed his talents with this loan.

Richard Keogh is mistake prone at the best of times, despite his underrated abilities, and Tomori showed composure next to him.

He is good at bringing the ball out from the back, good in the air and is fairly pacy for a defender, making him a fan favourite at Pride Park.

At only 21, Tomori has shown maturity and a willingness to learn, and with a couple more years under his belt, he could be a top-class defender.

He is a certainty for Aidy Bothroyd's England U-21 squad ahead of the European Championships this summer - that squad is set to be announced on Monday.

Tomori is not the finished product, but Derby and Lampard is the perfect place for him to be nurtured into an all-round defender, so the Rams must do all they can to prevent him joining Celtic this summer.
