Bristol City return to action after the international break next weekend with a trip to Luton Town, with Lee Johnson's side looking to continue the run that has seen them 10 games unbeaten in the league.

Johnson though is not resting on his laurels and is keen to take Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah to Ashton Gate on loan in January, after the 20-year-old has struggled for game-time on his loan at Leeds United, it is reported in The Sun.

So would it be good business for the Robins, if they manage to land Nketiah on-loan in January?

We discuss........

Ben Lang

"This would be an interesting turn of events after Nketiah opted to join Leeds over the Bristol City in the summer, but it would surely work in the Robins' favour.

"Nketiah may not be getting the regular game time he wants at Leeds, but he is already a proven Championship goalscorer and definitely deserves to be starting regularly in the second tier.

"There may be some doubts at Bristol City over whether Nketiah really wants to be there given the summer's events, but it would most likely be a short-term option that would benefit the Robins until the end of the season.

"This would be a hugely impressive coup if Lee Johnson's side can pull it off. Nketiah is capable of spearheading the Robins' promotion charge in the second half of the season."

Alfie Burns

“I think it’s probably safe to say that Nketiah would get more game time at Ashton Gate than he is currently at Leeds.

“However, the player made a choice in the summer to go to Leeds, where he believes he will develop more.

“Of course, the Robins can remain interested, but the player is going to have to have a say in where he goes in January, if he does indeed leave Leeds.

“Lee Johnson will be monitoring the situation closely, but there’s lots to consider. Nketiah seems happy in Leeds.”

Chris Thorpe

"This is an interesting saga, which has been lingering for a while now, ultimately Arsenal will want the best for him.

"Personally I think it would be a good move for Nketiah, as he isn't really getting a look in at Leeds.

"It will be interesting to see if Arsenal feel he'd develop better at Bristol or Leeds.

"His next move could be detrimental to how he continues his development this season."
