Wenger will be given a large war chest of £75 million in the summer to bolster the spine of the team and strengthen their weak midfield and defence.

They're failing to establish themselves during this very open title race, which has been down to the ineptitude of the midfield and the lack of a spine.

At just 16, Sessegnon is a very long term investment but has impressed at Fulham, and in Arsenal's attempt to sign him on deadline day it only fell apart, because Fulham wanted Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry on loan in return which Arsenal refused.

Fulham are also not keen on selling Sessegnon as he is regarded as one of the best left sided prospects in the game since Gareth Bale and Arsenal are one of many keen suitors.

Arsenal are having a clear out in the summer of all their deadwood players and the youngsters failing to develop, and they may use Gnabry as bait to try and ascertain Sessegnon from Fulham who is also the captain of the England U16 side.
