Charlton Athletic continued their fine start to the season with a solid 3-0 win over Derby County yesterday.

The Addicks saw off Phillip Cocu's men with considerable ease at The Valley after a clinical display of finishing put the Rams to the sword.

Goals from Conor Gallagher, Macauley Bonne, and Naby Sarr were enough to give Lee Bowyer's men the three points, with all three goals quality bits of play from the home side.

And Sarr's effort seemed to catch the attention of the one Premier League superstar in-particular, as Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette took time out to applaud the Charlton man's effort on Twitter.

The Arsenal striker is clearly a close friend of Sarr but it's still a nice touch to see the Gunners ace take the time out to praise the Addicks defender.

Sarr has been one of the best players for Charlton this term and continues to impress in the Championship under the guidance of Lee Bowyer, although his strike yesterday was his first of the season.

Charlton moved within touching distance of the top six with the win over the Rams which was headlined by a stunning strike by midfielder, Conor Gallagher.
