Sunderland look set to be raided by Premier League Arsenal for two of their brightest young talents, according to the Sunderland Echo.

Swedish starlets Joel Asoro and Benjamin Mbunga-Kimpioka are both reportedly wanted by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, with the Frenchman willing to pay £5m for the pair.

Asoro in particular has attracted plenty of attention, after the 18-year-old made his first team bow last season, becoming Sunderland's youngest Premier League player in the process. He is thought to be highly regarded by coaching staff at Sunderland, and many expected him to play a major part in the Championship next term.

Mbunga-Kimpioka is still only 17, but is again thought to possess the talent to make it right to the top, and is another who was hoping to be knocking on the door in the upcoming season.

It will be another bitter blow to Sunderland if they do end up losing both players, and with no manager yet in place either, the summer looks to be getting off to a rocky start at the Stadium of Light ahead of what is bound to be a difficult Championship campaign.
