Arsenal have seen goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez leave the club on loan for Sky Bet Championship club Reading today.
The stopper has had a pretty tough spell with the Gunners having featured few and far between given the obvious quality they have had ahead of him over the years.
He is familiar already to Royals fans, though, having been in goal for the Emirates outfit in the famous 7-5 League Cup clash.
Royals will be hoping that he can keep things a little tighter than that, then, with the club confirming his arrival earlier today:

In his mid-2o’s, he’ll be itching to start playing and with Reading down in the relegation battle, they’ll be hoping he can quickly make an impact if he starts.
Certainly, there appears a good chance that he will be a first-team regular, as the club seeks to shore things up under new manager Jose Gomes.
This could be a very decent signing.
Martinez is a player who will be hungry to get playing and Reading need professionals who are going to do a good job.
Get this right, and it could be their ticket to Championship safety this season – let’s see how quickly he can settle in.
