It is looking likely that Kyle Joseph will leave Wigan this summer amid links to Arsenal, Celtic, Newcastle United, Rangers, and Tottenham, according to journalist Alan Nixon

Joseph broke through into the Latics senior side this term, scoring five times and adding one assist in League One before injury limited his opportunities in the second half of 2020/21.

There's no shortage of interest in the 19-year-old as the summer window approaches, with Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, Arsenal, Newcastle, and Spurs among the clubs linked.

Joseph is out of contract in the summer and though Wigan have offered him new terms in an attempt to keep him at the North West club moving forward, it seems as if his days there are numbered.

Pressed on his future today, Nixon has revealed that it is looking likely he will leave the club.

Joseph's departure could see him remain in the EFL, however, with Wales Online reporting recently that Swansea City were in talks with the young forward.

The Verdict

Wigan have been busy looking to add to their squad this term but it seems they're set to lose to Joseph this summer.

The 19-year-old impressed in the first half of the season and it appears his emergence has turned the heads of plenty of big clubs.

The Latics will likely be hoping he joins one of the English sides, rather than Celtic or Rangers, as that should see them receive more compensation.

Though Nixon has indicated he's likely to be departing, the transfer saga is not done yet.
