The publication claims that the highly-rated youngster is not set to leave the Valley in this upcoming summer transfer window, subsequently dashing the hopes of Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton.

Gomez, 17, has amassed a total of 17 appearances for Guy Luzon's Charlton Athletic side this season, and he looks on course to have a very promising future in professional football.

The 17-year-old has constantly impressed in every game he’s played during his early career, and was part of the England under-17 side that won the European Championships in Malta last year.

Gomez is renowned for his versatility and can operate as either a right-back or as a centre-back, so he would provide any team with a number of defensive options.

The Addicks currently sit in 10th place in the Sky Bet Championship, having accrued 60 points from 44 league games this season.

It has turned out to be a pretty good season for the side from London, and Luzon will be hoping to keep the likes of Gomez and push for promotion next season.
