Premier League sides Arsenal and Manchester City are both in the hunt for Brighton goalkeeper Christian Walton according to Sky Sports.
The 18-year old goalkeeper is currently third choice keeper at the Amex but is an England U19 international and did feature in the England U19 squad that narrowly missed out on qualification for the U19s Euros.
Walton joined the club from Plymouth in the summer of last year having progressed through all youth levels at the League Two side but has not made his debut yet.
However, following the recent departure of former Poland goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak he should be in with a chance with first-team football at the Championship side.
But, according to his father Tim, he is subject to interest from a host of Premier League sides including Manchester City and Arsenal.
He told the Cornish Guardian, “A number of clubs have been watching Christian. Arsenal are one and we know Man City are keen. He did extremely well in his three games for England, which has attracted some interest from clubs.”
