Wolverhampton Wanderers are playing an exciting brand of football that has seen them take the Sky Bet Championship by storm this season, with their attacking play really easy on the eye.

Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini have taken plenty of plaudits so far this season, but in recent weeks it has been Ivan Cavaleiro who has been outstanding, with the forward putting in some mesmerising performances.

Cavaleiro has six goals and five assists to his name in the Championship this season, including four goals in his last three outings, but how much is the 24-year-old worth in today’s market?

We take a look…

Adam Simeoni

A consistent run in the team and the player probably reaches the £7 million mark.

The Portuguese forward is by no means an undisputed starter, and must be at his best to retain his spot.

There is no denying his ability, however.

Chris Gallagher

Around £15m.

Cavaleiro was bought for £7m and had a mixed first season.

However, under Nuno Espirito Santo he has really improved.

The winger is delivering consistently and the 3-4-3 formation has given him fewer defensive responsibilities.

He's still young and can improve further and will be influential for Wolves throughout the season.

George Dagless

I think about £15m.

Diogo Jota and Leo Bonatini are worth a bit more - as is arguably Helder Costa - but Cavaleiro is proving himself to be someone who cannot be left out.

Whenever you think Costa is going to come back into the side, Cavaleiro has scored or helped change a game and I think he deserves to be considered in the same breath as his fellow attackers at the club.
