Aribim Pepple has admitted that he is excited to join Luton Town and is hoping to play a role in helping the club achieve their goal of securing promotion to the Premier League during his time at Kenilworth Road.

As confirmed by the club's official website, Pepple has joined the Hatters for an undisclosed fee from Cavalry FC.

Handed his debut by Cavalry in 2019, the forward had a brief spell at Getafe before returning to the Canadian Premier League side earlier this year.

In the seven league games that he participated in for the Cavs in the 2022 season, Pepple managed to find the back of the net on six occasions and was named as the CPL's Player of the Month in June.

Pepple, who has featured at youth level for Canada's national team, will now be aiming to make a positive impression for the Hatters in the coming seasons after making this particular switch.

Reacting to his move, Pepple has admitted that he is looking forward to getting started at Luton.

Speaking to the club's website, the 19-year-old said: "It feels really good to finally get this done and be here.

"I’m so excited to finally come over and join Luton.

"Just in the short time I have been around the club, it is clear the goal of the team this year is to get promoted to the Premier League.

"If I can help in any way possible, that is my goal."

The Verdict

Luton will be hoping to further Pepple's development after reaching an agreement to sign the forward from Cavalry.

Although it may take the forward some time to adapt to life in the Football League due to the fact that he has yet to play senior football in England, he has shown some real signs of promise during his time in Canada.

Given that Luton are currently able to turn to Carlton Morris, Elijah Adebayo, Cameron Jerome and Cauley Woodrow for inspiration, Pepple may have to wait for his chance to impress due to the presence of these strikers.

By learning from Nathan Jones' guidance, there is no reason why Pepple cannot eventually go on to make a positive impact for the Hatters.
