Nottingham Forest's Nuno da Costa was forced off just 29 minutes into a game for the U23 side this afternoon.

The forward only joined the Reds from Strasbourg in January and has made just one substitute appearance for Sabri Lamouchi since, coming on during the defeat to Charlton on Tuesday.

Therefore, he was selected to play for the development outfit against Crewe this afternoon but the club's academy Twitter account revealed that he picked up an injury in the first-half.

Whilst the severity of his setback is not yet known, it's obviously not ideal for Forest who are back in action tomorrow when they take on West Brom at The Hawthorns.

With doubts over Lewis Grabban's fitness as well, Forest could be short on options for the trip across the Midlands and it's fair to say the update has concerned supporters.
