Wei arrived at Celtic on loan from Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua in the 2005/06 season.

There were high hopes for the centre-back, but he only made one appearance for the Bhoys, which came in a cup game against Clyde. He was substituted at half-time in that game after a poor display, and returned to China after his loan spell was cut short.

Compper signed for Celtic in January 2018, but he struggled with his time up in Scotland.

The defender had previously been on the books at RB Leipzig and Fiorentina, but made just one appearance for Celtic.

His time at the club didn't last long either, as he was MSV Duisburg in the summer of 2019, to bring an end to a shocking spell with the Bhoys.

Boerrigter signed a four-year deal with Celtic after an impressive spell with Dutch giants Ajax.

But the winger's time with the Bhoys was one to forget, and only scored once in 26 appearances for the Scottish giants.

He was released upon the expiration of his contract in April 2016.

Scheidt signed for Celtic back in 1999 from Brazilian side Gremio, and had one of the worst spells at the club.

He made just two appearances for the Bhoys, and his time with the club was plagued with a number of injury problems, that limited his game time.

He spent a season out on loan with Corinthians as well, but left Celtic upon his return from the loan spell.

Bangura spent three seasons with the Scottish giants, but only made 16 appearances in his time with the club.

The striker arrived from Swedish side AIK, but left the club in January 2014, when his contract was terminated by mutual consent.

He is still playing to this day though, and is currently playing his football with Akropolis IF back in Sweden.

Slater signed for Celtic from West Ham United back in 1992 but struggled in his time with the Bhoys.

He scored just three goals in 43 appearances for the Scottish giants, before making the move back to England with Ipswich Town.
