It's been a frustrating season for Steven Gerrard's Rangers this season, as they were beaten to the league title by arch rivals Celtic.

With the season over, we take a look at SIX of the worst ever Rangers signings that we've seen over the years.

Find out who they are, on the next page....

Beattie signed for Rangers on a two-year deal back in 2010, but struggled in his time with the club.

The former Southampton forward only made ten appearances for the Gers, and didn't score a single goal before terminating his contract in the summer of 2011.

Francisco Sandaza is a player who left Rangers in disgraceful fashion.

He admitted to a hoax football agent that he only signed for the Gers for the money and would leave the club if an alternative offer was made.

Rangers terminated his contract after this was found to be true, and he's a player that certainly had a forgetful time with the Scottish club.

Cribari signed for Rangers in 2012 and featured regularly in his first season with the club.

However, the following season he struggled for consistent minutes with the Scottish giants and left the club upon the expiration of his contract.

That proved to be the last club that he played his football for as he has since retired.

Mladenovic arrived for a fee believed to be in the region of £1m, but he failed to justify that price tag in his brief spell with the club.

He made just eight appearances in his time with the Gers in the year he spent at Ibrox. He joined red Star Belgrade on a free transfer, despite having three years remaining on his contract with Rangers.

McKay signed for Rangers in 2011 and made his debut against Dundee United in September.

But that was only one of four appearances that the Australian made in his time with the club. He left the club whilst Rangers were experiencing financial difficulty and joined Korean side Busan IPark.

Karl Svensson might be a player that some Rangers fans forgot about, and that's largely due to the fact that he struggled in his time with the club.

He made 27 appearances for the Gers before moving to French side Caen after struggling to adjust to the physicality of the Scottish league. Svensson originally signed a three-year deal at Ibrox, and it didn't come as a surprise to see him leave the club after just one season.
