‘April isn’t close,’ ‘Not too shabby’ – A mix of disbelief and pride greets Neil Harris’ Millwall acknowledgement

After picking up ten points from a possible 15 in October, Neil Harris has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month award.

The Lions won three of their five games last month, tasting defeat just once – and they were the third highest scoring team in the whole division, too.

A 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the start of October set the tone for Harris’ men who were two goals down heading into the final 15 minutes.

Wins over Aston Villa, Wigan Athletic, and Ipswich Town saw the London club move out of the bottom three.

It was a positive set of results after failing to win in the whole of September.

And with their upturn in form comes the news that the Millwall manager is up for the award.

Harris faces stiff competition for the accolade as he has been nominated with QPR’s Steve McClaren, Derby’s Frank Lampard and Birmingham’ Garry Monk.

The winner will be announced on November 9, 2018.

With that said, here’s how the Millwall supporters reacted on Twitter to the news of their Harris’ nomination.
