Nottingham Forest are set to sign Aston Villa’s Keinan Davis on loan, with the striker set for a medical today ahead of the switch.

Steve Cooper has been desperate to bring in a new number nine in the window and it appears the Reds have won the race to land the 23-year-old, who had been attracting interest from the likes of Bournemouth and Stoke City among others.
That’s after Telegraph reporter John Percy revealed that a move has been agreed, with Davis just needing to complete a medical before the move is finalised.
Even though the striker is highly-rated and will be an asset to Forest because of his strength and ability to link play, Davis doesn’t have the best goalscoring record in his career so far.
What club did Nottingham Forest sign each of these 29 players from?
Therefore, news of his arrival prompted a mixed response from the fans, although most were pleased to see the club acting swiftly in the market.
Here we look at some of the reaction to the news on Twitter…

Wanted anyone but him 🤣 could be the worst striker I’ve ever seen, could be beat Mir, Macheda and Bonatini.
And yes I’ll back him but if you have a aight you would’ve seen how absolutely tragic he is. https://t.co/JxppkiIe18
