Mick McCarthy's men are without a win in 4 games, and last night's result won't help their confidence after losing 4-1 in a crushing defeat at Craven Cottage. 

Mick McCarthy has always done well at producing some quality players during his time as Ipswich boss, but's just struggled to challenge at the top of the Championship with the small budget they're gifted with.

Indeed, last night's loss will be a crushing one for the player's that featured in the match after letting a one-goal lead slip, after the departure of right-back Jordan Spence for violent conduct.

One man in particular who tried his best to take leadership of the side after the sending off was the experienced Tommy Smith, a player who'd only just returned from injury. But he couldn't keep the opposition at bay as Fulham netted 4 times in the space of 7 minutes.
