A small group of West Bromwich Albion fans have took time to reflect on Rickie Lambert's spell at the Hawthorns.

The veteran forward joined the Baggies from Liverpool in the summer of 2015, after spending one year at Anfield under the management of Brendan Rodgers.

The striker had made only seven Premier League starts for his boyhood club, scoring three goals in a total of 36 appearances for the Merseyside club.

Being brought to the Hawthorns by Tony Pulis, Lambert was to stay at West Brom for only a year, scoring only one Premier League goal in 20 attempts, which came against Leicester City.

That was to be Lambert's only goal in an Albion shirt, and the former Southampton and Bristol Rovers man was to move onto pastures new the following season and join Cardiff City.

Scoring four goals in 19 games for the Bluebirds, Lambert has since announced his retirement from the game, and he will be remembered more for his time at Southampton rather than his time at Albion.
