Leeds United boss, Marcelo Bielsa's future remains up in the air, with the 63-year-old yet to comment on his future at Elland Road.

This has meant that a number of clubs have reportedly targeted the Argentine to take charge of their teams ahead of next year's campaign.

According to Catalunya Radio, Spanish side Girona have made the Leeds boss their number one target to take over as they sacked Eusebio Sacristan following the club's relegation this season.

The report also claims that Celta Vigo are interested in appointing Bielsa in the summer, although Leeds will surely be keen to retain their services of their boss for another season.

AS Roma are also believed to be interested in holding talks with Bielsa (according to the Daily Mail), as they look to find a permanent manager, with Claudio Ranieri's spell with the club coming to an end.

Yorkshire Evening Post journalist, Phil Hay is expecting talks between Leeds and Bielsa to get underway in the near future.

Leeds narrowly missed out on a place in the Championship play-off final, as they fell to a shock 4-3 defeat on aggregate to Derby County in their semi-final.

But the Yorkshire-based side seem to be hopeful of reaching an agreement with Bielsa ahead of next year's campaign, where they'll be hoping to make a long-awaited return to the Premier League.

The Verdict:

I can't see him going to either club.

He's starting to build something special at Leeds, and I would be absolutely astounded if he was to depart Elland Road in the summer.

Bielsa has unfinished business, and will be keen to give it one more shot in winning promotion to the Premier League.
