Peterborough United have had a busy summer transfer window as they look to go one step further than last season and break into the promotion picture.
However, having lost their first two matches of the season there is clearly still a few creases to be ironed out by Darren Ferguson if that is to become a reality.
A statement was made in the transfer window by the Posh, bringing in ten new players including the likes of George Boyd, Mo Eisa, Christy Pym and Mark Beevers.
Happy to announce signing of right back Nathan Thompson on a 2 year deal to @theposhofficial an excellent addition to our full back corps 👍🏻.

And, with the summer transfer window still open for Leagues One and Two, they added another new face on Friday in the form of Nathan Thompson.
He left Portsmouth at the end of last season after two years with the club, where he played 79 times, notching ten assists in the process.
And after Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony shared the news on Twitter, the fans reacted…
I get this signing. No player should expect to be handed a place every week and as good a player Naismith is. It has to be up to the manager to pick the team. Not any player. Shame if JN goes, but for the reasons above then so be it.

Not sure I understand this one. Should of focused on a CM and a striker but I trust in Darragh and Fergie

Nathan Thompson looks a very good signing, left Portsmouth last year for bigger and better things so he’s obviously got talent and Fergie sounds surprised to have got him in. It’s a shame, however, as looks like Naismith is off #pufc
