Bristol City currently occupy the final play-off spot and it promises to be an exciting end to the season for Lee Johnson's men as they seek to win promotion to the Premier League.

Obviously, it's been a massive team effort from the Robins, who had to cope with several key players leaving last season, including Joe Bryan, Aden Flint and Bobby Reid.

Whilst they have clearly managed to improve on the whole, it's fair to say one summer signing hasn't made the impact many would've hoped - forward Mo Eisa.

The 24-year-old arrived with a big reputation and it was easy to see why as he had scored goals for fun in League Two for Cheltenham and was widely regarded as one of the most exciting players in the Football League.

And, that was reflected in the reaction from supporters to his arrival.

He was seen as the man to replace Reid and would've hoped to score the goals that could've had the Robins in this position.

Unfortunately for the player though, it hasn't worked out like that, with Eisa playing just five times in the league and he has failed to find the net.

He has barely made the squad this year and he looks a long way from the first-team, which will have to be a worry.

The one positive is that Eisa is still young enough to turn things around so he shouldn't be dismissed as a complete failure just yet.

However, it's clear there needs to be a major turnaround if the forward wants to have a future at Ashton Gate - which is not a situation many expected when Eisa arrived.
