Nacer Chadli has left West Bromwich Albion and joined AS Monaco for an undisclosed fee, the club’s official website announced last night.
Chadli brings an end to his two year stay at The Hawthorns by joining Monaco after the French club had an improved bid accepted for his services.
Monaco finished second in Ligue 1 last season and are offering the winger the chance to play Champions League football.
The Belgium international recently starred for his country at the World Cup, helping them to the semi-finals, and putting himself in the shop window for a move.
Chadli played 37 games over two years for the Baggies, although only five of those appearances came last season during an injury-hit campaign.
After West Brom were relegated, the 29-year-old was heavily linked with a move away and he has now completed his move.
Here are how some West Brom fans reacted to Chadli’s permanent switch.
He never really joined Albion. Goodbye and good riddance.

Another inadequate Pulis Signing

Good. The guy chucked the toys out the pram because he didn’t want to play for us.

Too many conspiracy theorists throwing out the “injured” remarks. The World Cup and his performance made it obvious he wasn’t going to be willing to play at this level. He’s too good, get over it. Unlike a certain center half, people actually wanted him…

Good luck to him. Not his fault he's had one of the worst years in his career due to injury, give him a break. Definitely way too good for the championship #wba

Pulis's enticement to become a Baggie, 'Nacer, I can get you in the World Cup squad, if you sign for us'..Worked.
Started like a storm for us, but the storm blew out, looking at his career, injuries were always a risk, hurting us and his value.
Risky signing, this didn't pay off.

Good another waste of space out of our club now just to get rid of Barry

A very disappointing player for us, didn’t play enough injured too frequent.
