Leeds United maintained their excellent start to the season with a convincing 3-0 victory at Stoke this afternoon.

Even though the Whites took a while to get going, they eventually ran out comfortable winners but there's no doubt the first goal was the crucial moment and the opener came from an unlikely source - full-back Stuart Dallas.

The Northern Irishman finished off a brilliant team move with a composed finish after breaking from deep and he was regularly involved as Marcelo Bielsa's men dominated the second half.

Dallas is only in the team because Luke Ayling is injured but the 28-year-old has been assured since filling in, with his versatility really useful to the manager in what is a demanding league.

Given the fact he doesn't always start, the ex-Brentford man isn't one who often gets the plaudits, however the fans were quick to praise him for his display today.
