Derby County were held to a 1-1 draw at West Brom, with the visitors scoring a controversial late penalty to leave with a point.

Referee Gavin Ward had a tough afternoon and he surprisingly judged that Max Lowe had fouled Matheus Pereira, with Kenneth Zohore converting the spot-kick in the 84th minute.
That didn’t tell the whole story though, with Martyn Waghorn giving the Rams the lead from a penalty and he had the chance to double Derby’s lead from 12 yards after a extremely harsh handball decision against Filip Krovinovic.
The missed penalty seemed to swing the game, with Albion coming more into it after the break and the Rams were careless in how they let the game slip.
Picking up a point means Phillip Cocu’s side are now without a win in four and they have fallen into the bottom half after what had been a decent start to the campaign.
So, it’s fair to say there is a bit of frustration among the support and here’s some of the reaction to the draw today…
You can't dive in like that. Even if there's no contact you're giving the ref a decision to make and with no var hes going to give the penalty 90% of the time. Naive from lowe. As for dowell please send him back to forest he thinks hes still playing for them

Ridiculous, should of been laughing with 3 points to the bank.

Never looked a threat all game, terrible refereeing, questionable substitutes

Another game goes begging, waggy has now let 5 points slip this season, 50% conversion from penalties I’d probably take him off them

Much better performance today. Sooner he moves to bielik and shinnie midfield the rest isnt pretty spot on

Much better, only a matter of time. I thought we were fantastic tbh except for that one moment
