Premier League giants Arsenal have reportedly joined the race to sign Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke.

The 18-year-old has been sensational for the Whites this season, and capped off his first Leeds start with a magnificent assist for Kemar Roofe, in their 2-0 home win over Derby County last Friday.

A host of Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, have already declared an interest in the winger, who has scored twice and produced two assists for Marcelo Bielsa's men this term, with latest reports suggesting that Unai Emery's Gunners are preparing to make a move.

With Leeds still yet to tie Clarke down to a long-term deal, here, we discuss whether it would be a good signing for Arsenal...

George Harbey

"Another massive club comes in for Clarke, and it really is no surprise.

"He has been fantastic for Leeds this season, and has been a breath of fresh air to those at Elland Road.

"Arsenal have a plethora of talented youngsters in their ranks, and Clarke would be another exciting option to have at the Emirates."

Jacob Potter

"It's a move Clarke should steer clear of.

"He's hardly been a regular in the Leeds side this season, so there is no way he'll get game time at Arsenal.

"Although he could potentially play at that level in the future, this wouldn't be the right time for Clarke to move.

"Arsenal wouldn't use him if they signed him, and it would be a waste of wages."

Chris Gallagher

"He'd be a very good signing for the long-term.

"Anyone who has seen Clarke play for Leeds will believe he has the talent to go right to the top, so it's understandable that Arsenal want him.

"Whether that's the right move for him is open for debate as you can't see him getting many opportunities in the first-team for a few years but the interest is inevitable after recent performances."
