Blackburn Rovers have today confirmed the news that they have sacked manager Owen Coyle, and it is fair to say it has gone down well on social media…
Coyle leaves the club languishing in 23rd spot in the Sky Bet Championship table, in what has been a turbulent campaign for the former Premier League champions.
The glory days are well and truly over at Ewood Park with the club in a fierce battle to retain their status as a second tier club.
Rovers have only won two out of their last ten Sky Bet Championship fixtures, and they were knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup last weekend by Manchester United 2-1, albeit taking the lead in the tie thanks to Danny Graham.
