Bristol City have had a tough summer so far with several key players leaving Ashton Gate after what was a mixed campaign last time out.

Star duo Bobby Reid and Aden Flint departed for Cardiff City and Middlesbrough, whilst Joe Bryan is another expected out the door.

Therefore, fans were understandably concerned that this season could be very painful and whilst it's only pre-season those fears are growing.

The Robins took on Newport County in a behind close doors friendly and were 2-0 down inside ten minutes to the League Two side.

Whilst Lee Johnson didn't pick his best XI for the fixture, it was still a very strong side that included new signings Jack Hunt and Andi Weimann who have been bought with the funds from earlier sales. Additionally, a trialist keeper started in goal.

Despite the fact this is a non-competitive game, fans were not happy with how the side had started and here's some of their comments on twitter...
