Nathan Jones' major rebuild at Stoke City this summer has begun after the club announced five new players had joined.

Keeper Adam Davies, midfielders Jordan Cousins and Nick Powell and striker Lee Gregory have all arrived at the bet365 Stadium on free transfers as their deals ran out at their former clubs.

Meanwhile, the Potters have also signed centre-back Liam Lindsay from Barnsley in a deal that could reach £2.5m, with all arrivals revealed on social media this evening.

The players are set to join up with their new Stoke teammates as the side report back for pre-season tomorrow and will be hoping to play a part as the side push for promotion under Jones next season.

Given the way the team underachieved in the previous campaign, most fans are excited about what the ex-Luton boss is trying to build and it's fair to say this transfer update has gone down well.
