Bristol City have announced the signing of Cheltenham Town striker Mo Eisa.

In a statement on the Bristol City website, the Robins revealed the 24-year-old’s arrival at Ashton Gate with him on a three-year contract.

The forward averaged a goal every other game for the League Two outlet last season, netting 25 times in 50 appearances.

The Bristol City faithful have been calling for the signing of a new forward following the departure of Bobby Reid to rivals and Premier League-bound Cardiff City earlier in the transfer window.

Replacing Reid, who finished last campaign as the Championship's third top goal scorer, was never going to be easy, but the addition of the young forward seems to have got the Robins fans excited for the upcoming season.

Johnson will be looking to improve on his side's 11th placed finish this coming season, and Eisa might just be the answer.
