Leeds United kept the pressure on league leaders West Brom with a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road.

The Whites took the lead after 30 minutes with Patrick Bamford ending his brief goal drought from the penalty spot. That lead was then doubled as Bamford turned provider for Jack Harrison.

Blackburn's Derrick Williams then halved that deficit five minutes later, but Leeds held their nerve in the second-half to remain level with Preston North End who occupy one of the automatic promotion places.

Marcelo Bielsa's side dominated the statistics, and the Leeds boss will be pleased to see his side picking up form before the international break this week.

The Whites are next in action when they take on Luton Town, with the Hatters looking to turn their poor run of form around at the earliest of opportunities.

Plenty of the Elland Road faithful took to social media following the win.
