The feel-good factor at Birmingham City has certainly disappeared since Garry Monk left the club at the end of last year's league campaign.

The Blues hadn't won any of their pre-season friendlies either, which will have had the club's supporters feeling nervous heading into the new Championship season.

But they thrashed Swindon Town 6-1 on Friday afternoon to give the players a much-needed confidence boost, with the new season just weeks away.

New signing, Daniel Crowley wasted no time in getting of the mark, as he opened the scoring after just five minutes, before Isaac Vassell, Craig Gardner, Odin Bailey and Jude Bellingham (2) all got themselves on the scoresheet.

They'll be hoping to build on this result when they are next in action against Bristol Rovers in their next pre-season clash, as their preparations for their league campaign continue.

Plenty of Birmingham supporters were evidently delighted with this recent showing.
