Aston Villa have been rampant during this transfer window and their latest addition could arguably be the best.
The Villans have signed Conor Hourihane, their second signing from Barnsley after completing a deal for James Bree yesterday, with the player signing a three-and-a-half year contract.
Villa have already added Henri Lansbury and Birkir Bjarnason to their midfield ranks, and the introduction of Hourihane will likely sure up the middle of the park at least until the summer.
The move seemed even more likely when Barnsley announced the loan signing of Matty James from Premier League Champions Leicester, many dubbing him as a replacement.
Here’s how Aston Villa fans reacted to the signing of Conor Hourihane…

This would be amazing business by any club in the Championship if #avfc signed Hourihane/Bree/Lansbury & Birki for the price of Gestede.

Hourihane is going to be a superb buy for AVFC, you could see his potential in his L2 years, destined for the Premier League.
