There is no denying that Atdhe Nuhiu’s career at Sheffield Wednesday is over, with the striker amassing just three Championship minutes in eleven games so far this season.
The Kosovan is clearly not in the plans of manager Carlos Carvalhal, and a January switch is looking increasingly likely.
Despite his lack of playing time, the forward is still a consistent member of the Kosovo national team competing in its first ever World Cup Qualifying group, and could feature for the minnows against the Ukraine this evening.
Wednesday announced the possibility of an appearance in a Tweet, and fans had their say on the Kosovan’s next potential international cap.
Some would love to see Nuhiu stay and fight for a place in the team, and others? Well, let’s just say they wouldn’t be sad to see the back of the international star…
